Isagenix® Income Helps Realtor Defy the Recession

Wendy swore she’d never return to network marketing after several bad experiences years prior had soured her to the industry. She decided instead to turn her focus solely to her real estate career in the affluent East Bay neighborhoods of San Francisco, California.

Yet as the real estate market screeched to a halt a few years later because of the faltering economy, the 43-year-old Californian found herself struggling with both her health and her finances.

That’s when a good friend introduced her to Isagenix®.

“He told me he had just recently lost inches off of his waist and had tremendous energy because of the products,” Wendy says. “I trusted him so I grabbed my credit card and told him to order me whatever he’d bought.”’

Wendy lost two sizes* and fell in love with the products, but was still a little hesitant about creating a business. She did her research and made absolutely certain that the products, compensation plan and the company’s vision aligned with what she was looking for. She had her light-bulb moment while at an Isagenix Opportunity Meeting when Co-Founder Kathy Coover said, “If it’s not right for the Associates, then it’s not right for the company.” She realized that the company was a match with her values. Still, she decided to take her research one more step.

“I decided to interview the top leaders and discovered that this was a family environment and none of the cross-line warfare and other things I’d experienced with other network marketing companies happened with Isagenix,” shares Wendy.

With the blessing of her husband, Eric and her two teenaged sons, Wendy quickly immersed herself in her Isagenix business. She traveled to several Isagenix University events in her first year and established an understanding of the products and the compensation plan. Next, she found her niche hosting home parties and estimates that she hosted three to five parties a week, which equaled more than 300 during her entire first year.

“I did that with a full-time career. I was driving home at 1 a.m. from an Isagenix party and getting up at 6 a.m. to start my real estate day,” Wendy says. “Being a talking billboard showing the results of the products was so key. I didn’t really have to go out and spread the word. People were coming to me and listening.”

Now a 3-Star Golden Circle, the success Wendy has experienced has allowed her to focus less on constantly connecting and more on what she considers her true calling in Isagenix – leadership.

“With Isagenix, you can leverage your time by helping others and it will help your entire team,” says Wendy.

While she still maintains a full-time real estate career, Isagenix has given her both the opportunity to reconsider her career path and provide for some very important people in her life.

“My passion is Isagenix, my career is my real estate,” shares Wendy. “Without my Isagenix income, I wouldn’t be able to provide support to my mom in an assisted living facility or the other special people in my life including my family. It’s been my answer in this slow economy and I’m so grateful.”
